Why?
In 2020, in place of Radio 1’s annual Ibiza weekend, the station put on a three-day celebration made up of five rooms housing some of the station’s best dance content

How?
We developed the concept of five ‘rooms’, housing some of the world’s biggest names including Disclosure, The Blessed Madonna, Jayda G, Four Tet as well as Pete Tong B2B with Bonobo from a rooftop in LA and Annie Mac from her Rave Shed in London. The R1 audience was able to listen to the radio shows, as well as watch the DJ sets via BBC iPlayer.
A special edition of Radio 1’s Dance Anthems the next day, featured PAs from Becky Hill and RAYE alongside brand new mixes from the likes of Jax Jones and Duke Dumont.
