Why?
BBC 6 Music wanted to shake up their schedule by bringing in new and diverse names to their presenter line up. They invited select suppliers to suggest new talent and ideas for Saturdays on the station.

How?
Having worked with The Blessed Madonna on various projects for some years, she was the very first person we thought of for this brief. We felt that everything she stands for musically and culturally was the perfect fit for the station.
We devised a 3 hour format for Saturday night and in early March 2021, we were commissioned to make the show. A key part of the show is to reflect the history of dance music, in a clever and unique way. In the first show, broadcast on April 3rd 2021, The Blessed Madonna gave a nod too many of the radio DJs that have inspired her.
