Why?
Radio 1 commissioned us to deliver a film about the making of Sam Smith's 'Writing On The Wall' song for the Bond movie 'Spectre'. The video also needed to look at the importance of the Bond theme in popular culture, and delve into its history.

How?
With Nick Grimshaw as presenter, we used his interview with Sam as the backbone of the piece. Along with the archive of previous Bond songs, we also used James Bond footage to help tell the story.

We heard from Sam's collaborators, Naughty Boy and Disclosure, along with Radio 1's Greg James, Scott Mills and Chris Stark, who shared their thoughts on Sam as an artist, whilst his producer Jimmy Napes talked about the writing of the song itself. Finally, Bond composer David Arnold revealed the thinking behind scoring a film such as 'Spectre'.
